PlayVault is built with privacy by design. We collect only data needed to provide core features and user safety controls.
Data We Collect
- Account data: username, email address, and authentication identifiers.
- App data: library entries, ratings, reviews, friend requests, blocks, and moderation reports.
- Preference data: notification and visibility settings.
How We Use Data
We use data to operate account access, game tracking, social features, moderation workflows, and sync across sessions. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing and Processors
PlayVault uses trusted service providers:
- Firebase (Google) for authentication and app database storage.
- Cloudflare Workers for API delivery and backend execution.
- IGDB for game metadata.
These providers may process technical metadata such as IP address, network info, timestamps, and request logs for security and reliability.
Retention and Security
Data is retained only as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and handle disputes. We use authentication, access rules, and platform-level safeguards to reduce unauthorized access risk.
Your Rights
You can manage content visibility, block users, and delete your account in-app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or restrict processing of personal data.
